One of the highlights of my 4D/3N's Siem Reap trip was to go horseback riding through the laid-back countryside of Cambodia. Why horseback riding, you may ask? Simply because it is a fun, healthy and environmentally friendly activity to be engaged in. Another reason is my sister and I did not want to limit our Cambodian experience to only the city, temples and ruins of Angkor. We want to explore and observe the life of a traditional Khmer too, and what better way to do it than on the back of a horse.
