4D/3N Backpacking Bali : Bayu Guest House @ Ubud, Bali (Part 3)

This is Part 3 of my write-up for Bayu Guest House, a wonderful Balinese-style guest house that is located in central Ubud, Bali.          Now, besides providing wonderful rooms to stay, the owners of Bayu Guest House also put a lot of effort in making sure that their guests will have a pleasant stay at their property. The common area located upstairs (above Rama room, in front of Bayu room) is both clean and beautifully decorated. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy the fresh air, cool breeze and lush greenery while being serenaded by cicadas by day and crickets by night. Moreover, there are stacks of books and magazines laid out on one corner of the common area for guests to read and pass their time should they wish to have a quiet time and chill indoors after a long day spent sight-seeing.

Breakfast is usually served in the common area however, guests may opt to have their breakfast at the verandah/patio of their rooms. All you need to do is to inform them where and at what time you want to have your breakfast and they will do the rest. From our experience, our breakfast came and was served to us on the dot as requested; and always with a smile.

The breakfast menu varies from one day to another and every day is a surprise. On our first morning, we had banana coconut pancakes whereas on our second morning, we had toast and tomato egg omelette, served with a choice of coffee or tea and a plate of freshly cut fruits - delicious max! Needless to say, we enjoyed having our breakfast at Bayu Guest House very much and the best part is, we get to enjoy our breakfast while watching the farmers planting paddy seedlings in the paddy field nearby! What a sight and valuable experience it was! I shall now let the photos do the talking. Enjoy!
